If You’re Kind and Polite, The World Will Be Right

It’s Random Acts of Kindness Day on the 17th February. Paddington believes that “if you’re kind and polite, the world will be right”, and so do we. Here are a few ways you can spread kindness.

  • Offer a helping hand: Whether it's holding the door open for someone struggling with their hands full or assisting an elderly neighbour with their groceries, even the smallest gestures can make a big difference.
  • Share a smile: In a world that can sometimes feel hectic and impersonal, Paddington knows the importance of sharing a smile and a friendly greeting wherever you go. Whether you're passing a stranger on the street or interacting with a cashier at the store, taking a moment to acknowledge someone with a warm smile and a kind word can brighten their day and lift their spirits.
  • Do a good deed: Buy a coffee for the person behind you in line or leave a kind note for a friend or co-worker, one simple act creates a ripple effect of positivity that can spread far and wide!
  • Take time to listen: Sometimes, the greatest gift you can give someone is your time and attention. Whether it's a friend who needs a shoulder to lean on or a stranger who simply needs someone to listen, taking the time to truly hear someone can make all the difference in the world.

Tag us on Instagram to share how you decided to spread kindness. We would like to start by offering you a FREE Paddington Tote Bag when you spend over £50 or more with us on the 17th and 18th February (Offer starts at 12:00am GMT Saturday of 17th February and ends at 11:59pm GMT Sunday 18th of February).
